Parker Diving service was started by Tim Parker in 1969, specializing in salvage and underwater boat repair. Since its inception, the company has salvaged in excess of 1,500 vessels ranging in size from a 15' Runabout to a 325' Ferryboat. Many of the vessels raised fall in the 35' to 100' range. We have done repairs and inspections on Supertankers, Cargo Vessels, Passenger vessels and Navy Ships including the U.S.S. Enterprise. Salvage Ops
June 30, 2005 - Salvage of stranded and sunk 42' Maxim from concrete pier at Hunter's Point, San Francisco. Parker Diving Service using a waterborne crane removed the vessel impaled on concrete pier and transported to Nelson's Boatyard.
May 14, 2005 - The 65' former Army boat Christopher M wrecked off of Bolinas Point (Duxbury Reef) after suffering gross mechanical failure and running aground. Parker Diving Service contained the spill (700 gallons of diesel fuel) and removed the vessel using helecopters.
November 26, 2004 - Pacific
Gayle, a 58' steel crabbing vessel went aground aproximately 2 miles north of
Usal Beach on the CA Lost Coast. She landed on a remote, rough, rocky shoreline.
Parker Diving Service was called to remove 750 gallons of diesel fuel, lube oil,
hydraulic fluids and household hazardous materials.
Along with Western Blasting Technologies, Columbia Helicopters, Airlift
Helicopters, Campbell Timberland Properties, Nunes Trucking, United States Coast
Guard, Dept of Fish & Game, CA State Parks and Recreation, the owner and his
insurance surveyor, Parker Diving Service devised a plan to safetly remove the
vessel from the remote, rocky shoreline
Explosives were approved to be used as no other equipment could be gotten to the
wreck site. After the cutting and placing of shape charges the debris was
airlifted out to an area where it could be cut into pieces and trucked to a
recycle center.
March 2004 - Parker Diving Service raised this aircraft that had crashed into the Napa River killing 2 people and the family pet. Working with the White Holly the plane was raised and put on deck and transported to shore.
The Casa Blanca, a 42' Grand Banks, was stolen from a San Francisco
marina and abandoned off of Sea Ranch (an environmentally sensitive area) where
she went ashore and was totally destroyed. Parker Diving Service had the remains
air lifted by helicopter to a demolition site.

Lake Shasta Houseboat 1/6/04 - A winter storm caused this houseboat to sink. Parker Diving Service raised and pumped for haul out.
Safari Rose - Lake Tahoe 07/03 - The Safari Rose tore off her starboard stabilizer while leaving the Tahoe Keys. As the captain realized she was taking on water he steered her into shallow water. Parker Diving Service patched the 8' long gash, pumped her out and towed her to Tahoe Keys for haul out. It is my understanding she has been totally restored and is back in service.
